Synopsis
"Platinum Blonde" (1931) is a Frank Capra comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It makes more sense in context — Ann is impulsive, and Stew has a way of getting swept along.

He starts writing a play to feel useful again, with help from his colleague Gallagher (Loretta Young), who has been quietly in love with him for years without saying so. Ann is not oblivious. What follows is less a love triangle than a study in where a person actually fits.
