Synopsis
Sanding Dreams (2026) is a Russian drama directed by Anton Mamykin — watch it online on iFILM. Mark Eidel'shtein plays Pasha, a nineteen-year-old rocket engineering student in St. Petersburg whose professors see him as the most promising candidate in the department.
His father dies. Pasha takes the first bus back to Shoyna, a remote northern settlement where sand dunes have been slowly burying houses for years. He has a family to keep together and an international grant that just came through. Then a rocket from a nearby test range comes down on their home.
