At the End of the Tunnel (Al final del túnel, 2016) is an Argentine-Spanish crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Rodrigo Grande builds the whole plot around a man who hears too much.

Joaquín spends his days in a wheelchair, tinkering with old electronics in his basement. Then sound starts leaking through the wall — voices, digging. A crew is boring a tunnel toward the bank across the street. He doesn't call the police. Instead a plan forms in his head, complicated by a new tenant and her young daughter who move in upstairs. From there everyone is playing an angle.

Leonardo Sbaraglia plays the shut-in whose calm hides plenty, with Clara Lago and Argentine screen legend Federico Luppi alongside him. Grande engineers a heist that keeps folding back on itself, full of double-crosses and reversals. Fans of clever Argentine capers like Nine Queens will feel right at home.
