Alex is a cop — he just neglected to mention the part about his high-risk tactical unit. Annie finds out when a disgruntled former ship's engineer named John Geiger (Willem Dafoe) takes over the Seabourn Legend and locks it onto a collision course with a crowded oil tanker terminal. Communications are cut, the crew is neutralised, and Alex has to work through the ship deck by deck with almost no backup.
