About

Synopsis

From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) is a crime thriller that flips into outright horror — watch it online on iFILM. Director Robert Rodriguez shot the film from a Quentin Tarantino script, with George Clooney, Tarantino himself, Harvey Keitel, Juliette Lewis, and Salma Hayek leading the cast. Released by Dimension Films on a $19 million budget.

Bank robbers Seth Gecko (Clooney) and his volatile brother Richard (Tarantino) are hours from the Mexican border with a plan: take ex-preacher Jacob Fuller (Keitel), his daughter Kate (Lewis) and his son as insurance, then disappear into a roadside strip club called the Titty Twister. For the first hour it plays as a tight fugitive thriller. Then midnight arrives, and every performer on that stage turns out to be a vampire. What follows is a siege film with improvised flamethrowers, Danny Trejo, and a very bad night for everyone who walked in after dark.

Tarantino wrote the script early in his career, before Pulp Fiction existed. The genre bait-and-switch remains one of the sharpest in 1990s American cinema. Stream From Dusk Till Dawn (1996) online on iFILM.
