Synopsis
Just Another Christmas (Tudo Bem no Natal Que Vem, 2020) is a Brazilian fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Jorge can't stand the holidays. A nasty fall on Christmas Eve knocks him out cold, and when he comes to, a whole year has vanished — and it's somehow Christmas Eve again.
Leandro Hassum plays the grouch caught in a peculiar loop. Every time he wakes, another year is gone, and he's left cleaning up whatever his other self did during the 364 days he can't recall. His marriage, his kids, his job, his strained bond with his father — all of it moves on without him while he scrambles to catch up. At first it's an annoyance. Then it starts to scare him.
Director Roberto Santucci takes the familiar time-loop frame and stretches it across years, turning broad comedy into a quiet look at everything a man misses while he's busy resenting the season.
