Synopsis
The Dutchman (2026) — watch online on iFILM. A successful Black businessman (André Holland) boards a New York subway car. His marriage is falling apart. His sense of self is fraying. Then a white stranger (Kate Mara) sits across from him and starts talking.
Director Andre Gaines builds the entire film around a single encounter: two people in a sealed car, one of them steering the conversation toward something dark. Mara's character knows too much, and every stop feels like a tightening knot. Holland and Mara spend most of the runtime face to face — and that's precisely what makes the ending land so hard.
