Synopsis
The Dreamlife of Angels (1998) is a French drama by Erick Zonca you can watch online on iFILM. Two broke twentysomethings, Isa and Marie, meet on the floor of a Lille sewing workshop and end up sharing a life.
Isa drifts — no home, odd jobs, an easy smile. Marie is harder, angrier, set on clawing her way out of poverty. They crash in an empty apartment whose owners, a mother and daughter, are in the hospital after a crash; the girl lies in a coma, and Isa starts reading her diary aloud. Then Marie falls for a wealthy club owner, and the friendship begins to crack.
