Before Sunrise

Before Sunrise (1995) is a romantic drama by Richard Linklater you can watch online on iFILM. Ethan Hawke plays Jesse, an American on a train to Vienna who talks French student Céline — played by Julie Delpy — into stepping off with him for one unplanned night before his morning flight home.

No thriller, no twist. Just two people walking through Vienna after dark: past street poets, café tables, the banks of the Danube. They argue about God and mortality, swap childhood memories, read each other's palms. Linklater shot the whole thing on location for $2.5 million and made it feel more alive than most blockbusters. Ninety-one minutes pass and the clock on the night runs out — which is precisely the point.
