Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Jess and her three-year-old brother Ben start seeing the dead inside the house — dark shapes that crawl out of the walls and reach for them. The adults notice nothing. Jess has a rough past, so her parents are quicker to blame a breakdown than to believe in ghosts. And the history of the family who lived there before turns out far worse than anyone admits. A young Kristen Stewart takes her first lead role here, with Dylan McDermott and John Corbett as her parents.
Hong Kong directors Oxide and Danny Pang bring their Asian-horror instincts to rural America, trading gore for held silence, the creak of an empty farmhouse, and whatever lurks at the edge of the frame.
