Synopsis

Gandhi is a respected communist factory worker in Milan, known for his hard line against management and fascists alike. One night he shelters a young man being attacked on the street. The man is gay. Word spreads quickly, and Gandhi's standing among his workmates begins to crack — not because anyone can articulate why, but because nobody quite knows what to do with this information either.
