The setting is the cutthroat program at Alpine University. Student Amy Mayfield (Jennifer Morrison) is shooting her thesis movie, naturally built around urban legends. Only one graduate takes home the prestigious film prize each year, and someone has decided to thin out the competition the hard way: members of Amy's crew start dying one by one, the killer hidden behind a fencing mask.
