Synopsis
Urban Legend (1998) is a campus slasher from director Jamie Blanks that you can watch online on iFILM. A killer is loose at a small New England university, and every murder copies a piece of modern folklore down to the last detail.
Student Natalie spots the pattern before anyone else: the deaths match the spooky stories kids trade in dorm rooms after dark. The pop-rocks-and-soda death, the man hiding in the back seat, the roommate who never turned on the light. One by one, these tall tales come true. Her professors and friends write her off as paranoid, which only puts them next on the list. The cast pulls from the era's hottest young faces, including Alicia Witt, Jared Leto, Rebecca Gayheart, Tara Reid and Joshua Jackson, with horror icon Robert Englund turning up in a supporting role.
