About

Synopsis

Killing Kennedy (2013) is a historical drama you can watch online on iFILM, produced for National Geographic Channel and adapted from Bill O'Reilly and Martin Dugard's 2012 bestseller. Director Nelson McCormick builds the film as two lives running in parallel toward a single point of convergence.

On one track: JFK (Rob Lowe), the youngest elected US president, managing the Cuban Missile Crisis and Cold War brinkmanship while keeping his own private contradictions in check. On the other: Lee Harvey Oswald (Will Rothaar), an ex-Marine who defected to the Soviet Union, returned disillusioned, and drifted to Texas with a worldview that had nowhere constructive to go. Ginnifer Goodwin plays Jackie Kennedy; Michelle Trachtenberg plays Marina Oswald. Each woman watches her husband move toward a different kind of end.

The film stays close to the documented record and steers clear of conspiracy angles. Whether that restraint reads as discipline or limitation depends on what you bring to JFK material — but as a two-hander biographical portrait, it holds together. Stream Killing Kennedy (2013) online on iFILM.
