Game of Death

Game of Death (1978) is the Bruce Lee action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Martial-arts star Billy Lo crosses a Hong Kong crime syndicate run by the sinister Dr. Land, an outfit that bleeds money out of every entertainer it controls.

When refusing to pay nearly gets him killed, Billy fakes his own death and goes hunting the men behind the attack. The trail leads to a pagoda where every floor hides a deadlier opponent. The climb to the top — Lo against the seven-foot Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, both decked out in that now-iconic yellow tracksuit — is one of the most copied fight scenes in cinema. Chuck Norris, Gig Young and Dean Jagger round out the cast.

Director Robert Clouse (Enter the Dragon) built the film around footage Lee had shot shortly before his death in 1973, stitching in stand-ins to finish the story.
