Synopsis
One Hundred Steps (I cento passi, 2000) is Marco Tullio Giordana's historical drama, available to watch online on iFILM. Each joke sharpens into open defiance. The louder the town laughs, the more dangerous his position becomes.
It draws on the true story of an activist whose voice was silenced in May 1978 — the same day Aldo Moro was kidnapped, which is why his death went almost unnoticed. The film took the screenplay prize at the Venice Film Festival and put Impastato's name back into the national conversation.
