Over years, patiently and stubbornly, she forces the truth of his disappearance into the open. The story comes from the memoir of their son, Marcelo Rubens Paiva.

Salles avoids speeches and outrage. What he builds instead is a slow chronicle of endurance, where resistance looks like a mother refusing to lie to her kids about their dad.
