The House by the Cemetery

The House by the Cemetery (Quella villa accanto al cimitero, 1981) is Lucio Fulci's Italian horror film, free to watch online on iFILM. Dr. Norman Boyle moves his wife and young son from New York into an old mansion outside Boston to finish a dead colleague's research.

The house sits right against a graveyard, and there's a tomb in its cellar belonging to a Dr. Freudstein, a former owner. Little Bob keeps seeing a girl in the window of an empty house, and she keeps telling him to leave. Sounds rise from behind a sealed cellar door at night, and one day his father pries it open. He shouldn't have. Catriona MacColl plays the mother who senses the danger before anyone else. This is the closing chapter of Fulci's unofficial "Gates of Hell" trilogy, after City of the Living Dead and The Beyond.
