Synopsis
Caged (Captifs, 2010) is a French horror you can watch online on iFILM. Carole, a nurse, is wrapping up a humanitarian mission somewhere in Eastern Europe with two colleagues. They're almost out — one last drive — when their car is ambushed on an empty road.
Waking up imprisoned, the three can't make sense of the worst part: nobody is killing them. They're fed, their wounds are dressed, they're kept clean. Behind that care sits a plan colder than any beating, and the reason their captors want them healthy lands far too late. Zoé Félix carries the film through panic and raw survival, while the tight walls and dim light do as much work as any monster would. This was the debut of Yann Gozlan, who later directed the thrillers A Perfect Man and Black Box.
Eighty minutes, lean and tightly wound — no padding, no long speeches. It's for viewers who like their European survival horror cold, physical, and not at all guaranteed a happy ending. Stream Caged (2010) online on iFILM.
