Being Frank

Being Frank (2019) is a deadpan family comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Miranda Bailey. Jim Gaffigan plays Frank, a cheerful, larger-than-life dad who has been quietly running two separate families in two separate towns.

His seventeen-year-old son stumbles onto the secret and sees an opportunity — not to blow everything up, but to squeeze his father for a little leverage. Gaffigan makes Frank oddly sympathetic even as he is obviously in the wrong; Logan Miller plays the son as more bewildered than righteous, and Anna Gunn holds the whole thing together as the wife who has no idea.
