Synopsis
Step Brothers (2008) is a Columbia Pictures comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Adam McKay reunited with co-writer Will Ferrell — the same duo behind Talladega Nights — casting Ferrell as 39-year-old Brennan Huff and John C. Reilly as 40-year-old Dale Doback.
Both men still live at home. No jobs, no ambitions, just bedrooms full of old hobbies and fragile egos. When Brennan's mom Nancy (Mary Steenburgen) and Dale's dad Robert (Richard Jenkins) meet at a conference and get married on the spot, the two overgrown kids are forced to share a room. They immediately despise each other. Then, slowly, something shifts — turns out they have the exact same taste in music, the same talent for chaos, and maybe the same shot at growing up.
The film earned $128 million against a $65 million budget and holds its place as one of the defining comedies of the 2000s. Stream Step Brothers (2008) online on iFILM.
