Kill Command

Kill Command (2016) is Steven Gomez's British sci-fi action film, and you can watch it online on iFILM. A unit of marines is flown to a sealed-off island for a routine training run, only to find an enemy already waiting there — one that feels no fear and shows no mercy.

Captain Bukes and his squad are used to shooting at targets. But the combat robots seeded across the range have started to learn: every firefight makes them smarter, and they now read the soldiers as data to be solved. With them is cyber-engineer Mills, who plugs into the machines directly through an implant, her cold gaze the only link between flesh and steel. The comms are dead, the ammo is finite, and the bots adapt faster than the troops can reload.

Made on a modest budget, it still outguns plenty of studio blockbusters on visual effects — Gomez came from CGI work and made his robots genuinely menacing. Vanessa Kirby, years before The Crown and Mission: Impossible, anchors the whole thing. A tight Aliens-meets-Terminator hybrid for anyone who likes bleak AI sci-fi.
