Synopsis

After the wreckage of the first film, Sergeant Kevin Chan has been busted down to traffic duty. He barely gets to breathe before drug lord Chu walks free and immediately sets out to punish the cop who jailed him. At the same time a crew of bombers is terrorizing the city, planting explosives in crowded spots and squeezing millions out of a major company. Kevin has to shield his girlfriend May (Maggie Cheung) and take on both threats more or less alone.
The climax in a fireworks warehouse is a genre textbook: real flames, real falls, not a frame of CGI. This is the era when every stunt was shot once, for keeps.
