Lydia and Emily fell out of touch years ago, and not on good terms. Emily is a scientist who has spent her life chasing a way to stop the Miscreants, while clumsy Lydia accidentally injects herself with the experimental serum and ends up super-strong. Now the mismatched pair has to train up and save the day together, bickering the whole time. Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer headline the duo, with Jason Bateman as a smitten half-crab villain who goes by The Crab.
