Synopsis
Watch The Contractor (2007) online on iFILM — a spy thriller directed by Josef Rusnak, with Wesley Snipes as James Dial, a former CIA sniper who retired to a Montana ranch and very much wanted to stay there. Former handlers show up with a London job: a terrorist is heading to trial, and there are people who want him dealt with before the verdict.
The mission unravels. Dial goes off-grid in an unfamiliar city and forms an unlikely bond with a twelve-year-old girl played by Eliza Bennett, while Lena Headey and Charles Dance circle from the institutional side with agendas of their own. The film runs 105 minutes at a measured pace — less about action set-pieces, more about a professional realising the people who deployed him are the real threat.
