My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988) is Richard Benjamin's sci-fi comedy, free to watch online on iFILM. Widowed physicist Steve Mills accidentally beams a signal into space that endangers a distant world, so the world sends Celeste down to set things right.

Kim Basinger plays Celeste: a bombshell who snacks on batteries, has never been kissed, and has no clue how human women behave. Her mission is to seduce Steve (Dan Aykroyd) and pry his research out of him. Trouble is, she actually starts falling for him, while his sharp teenage daughter senses something is off about the new stepmom from the start. John Lovitz and a very young Alyson Hannigan round out the cast.
