Synopsis
The Seven Deadly Sins: Cursed by Light (2021) is a feature-length fantasy anime you can watch online on iFILM. The Holy War is over, the Demon King has fallen, and the kingdom of Liones has its peace back at last.
Half a year on, Meliodas — the Dragon Sin of Wrath — proposes to Elizabeth and sets off with her on a quiet trip across the land. It does not stay quiet. A fresh threat rises, and the scattered Sins are called back together for one more fight. Director Takayuki Hamana keeps it tight at 80 minutes, with little patience for slow build-up.
This film closes out Nakaba Suzuki's hit manga and the TV anime, so it lands hardest if you already know the cast. Newcomers will miss some of the callbacks; longtime fans get big set-piece battles and a real send-off for characters they have followed for years. Yuki Kaji and Sora Amamiya lead the voice work.
