Yuta Okkotsu has been bound to a curse since childhood: his late friend Rika Orimoto died in an accident and came back as something monstrous — a special-grade cursed spirit that obeys no one. When jujutsu sorcerers finally move to contain him, Satoru Gojo steps in and offers enrollment at Tokyo Jujutsu High instead of a cell. There, Yuta trains alongside Maki Zen'in, Toge Inumaki, and Panda — classmates who have every reason to distrust a boy walking around with a catastrophic curse attached to his soul.

The bigger threat takes shape off-campus. Suguru Geto, Gojo's estranged former ally, is assembling an army of cursed spirits for a night the school may not survive.
