Synopsis
Date Movie (2006) — watch online on iFILM — is a spoof comedy directed by Aaron Seltzer, starring Alyson Hannigan, Eddie Griffin, Sophie Monk and Carmen Electra. It takes aim at the romantic comedy boom of the early 2000s, firing at everything from Bridget Jones to My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
Julia Jones has found the man of her dreams: British charmer Grant Fockyerdoder. Between her and a white dress stand two sets of bizarre parents, a high-voltage wedding planner and Grant's impossibly beautiful best friend Andy, who has no intention of letting the relationship survive. Each scene sets up another parody target, hits it with varying accuracy, and moves on.
