Synopsis
The Horde (La Horde, 2010) is a French zombie action film you can watch online on iFILM. Four cops set out for revenge of their own, storming a derelict tower block on the edge of Paris to settle a score with the gang that killed one of their own.
The plan falls apart fast. The officers are disarmed and lined up to die — and then the dead start tearing through the building. A sudden plague turns people into ravenous things quicker than anyone can grasp what's happening. Cornered, the cops and the gangsters who were aiming guns at each other a moment ago have no choice but to fight back side by side. Yannick Dahan and Benjamin Rocher co-directed.
This is brutal, grimy horror with no sentiment in it: the undead sprint instead of shuffle, and the close-quarters brawls are shot at full tilt. Claude Perron and Jean-Pierre Martins anchor the cast.
