Synopsis
The Craft: Legacy (2020) is a teen horror-fantasy you can watch online on iFILM. When Lily moves to a new town with her mother and starts at an unfamiliar high school, something strange surfaces in her almost from the first day.
Three classmates have been hunting for a fourth to complete their circle, and they pull Lily in fast. At first the new power is a rush: the girls learn to read minds, bend reality and put bullies in their place. But magic asks for something back, and Lily's mother has just moved them in with a new boyfriend (David Duchovny) who's hiding plenty of his own. Cailee Spaeny, Gideon Adlon, Lovie Simone and Zoey Luna lead the coven, with Michelle Monaghan as Lily's mom.
Written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones, the film picks up the thread of the cult 1996 The Craft, and that link is more than a nod. This is a gentler, more deliberate take on sisterhood and growing up, where the scares mostly frame a story about owning your power.
