A G20 summit in Cape Town gets seized by mercenaries led by a bitter ex-soldier (Antony Starr). Their scheme is nasty and simple: hold the world's leaders hostage and crash the global economy using deepfakes. Sutton, who climbed from the army to the Oval Office, slips her security detail and starts clearing the hotel on her own, dragging her teenage daughter and her husband out of the line of fire along the way.

Strip it down and it's Die Hard with a commander-in-chief instead of a beat cop: tight corridors, improvised weapons, brains over backup. Davis carries the whole thing, lending a disposable action picture more weight than it earns on paper. Unfussy but solid genre fare for a night in. Stream G20 (2025) online on iFILM.
