Gordon Bombay (Emilio Estevez) gets tapped to coach Team USA at the Junior Goodwill Games in Los Angeles. He rounds up the old Ducks, adds a handful of new faces, including a speedy Texan and a figure skater swapping blades for hockey, and heads west. Trouble is, sunny California, endorsement deals and sudden fame pull both coach and kids off their game. Waiting in the final is a wall of ice: Iceland's unbeaten team and its icy coach Wolf Stansson. To win, the Ducks have to remember why they laced up in the first place.

This breezy follow-up to the 1993 hit rode a wave big enough that Disney named a real NHL franchise, the Anaheim Ducks, after the movies. A young Joshua Jackson and Kenan Thompson skate through the roster, and basketball legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar turns up for a quick gag cameo.
