Synopsis
Kangaroo Jack (2003) is a family adventure comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Two Brooklyn pals get tangled up with the mob and are handed one job: carry an envelope holding fifty thousand dollars to the other side of the planet — the Australian outback.
Charlie (Jerry O'Connell) cuts hair for a living; his buddy Louis (Anthony Anderson) dreams of making music. The delivery looks foolproof right up until they clip a red kangaroo with their car out in the desert. For a laugh they zip Charlie's jacket onto the animal — the same jacket with the cash tucked in the pocket. The kangaroo comes to and bounds off. Money and all. What follows is a flat-out chase across the bush after the hardest-to-catch courier in history. Estella Warren and Christopher Walken round out the cast.
David McNally directed under producer Jerry Bruckheimer. Don't go digging for depth here — it's a deliberately goofy ride built on stunts, sweeping outback scenery and the wisecracking CGI kangaroo from the trailers. Best for kids and anyone after something undemanding for a weekend. Stream Kangaroo Jack (2003) online on iFILM.
