About

Synopsis

Gridiron Gang (2006) is a sports drama from director Phil Joanou that you can watch online on iFILM. Dwayne Johnson stars as Sean Porter, a probation officer at a juvenile detention camp who turns its locked-up teenagers into a real football team.

These kids settled everything with fists and guns, and statistics gave many of them no future at all. Porter lays down a brutal deal: training, discipline and playing by the rules, or back to the streets. Xzibit plays his fellow counselor, while Jade Yorker carries the team's emotional weight as a young inmate with a violent past. The field isn't a metaphor here; it's the one place nobody writes them off.

The script grew out of a 1993 documentary about the actual Sean Porter and his Camp Kilpatrick Mustangs near Los Angeles. Joanou skips the sugar, letting the losses sting and the change cost something. An honest watch for anyone drawn to stories of falling hard and clawing back.
