Elevation

Elevation (2024) is George Nolfi's sci-fi action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Survivors cling to the Rocky Mountains because the creatures hunting them can't climb past 8,000 feet.

Below that line lies a dead zone ruled by armored, insect-like things that wiped out nearly everyone. Single father Will gambles on a descent when his son runs out of the supplies keeping him alive. He's joined by Nina, a scientist hunting for a weak spot in the monsters' shells, and the hardened Katie. Every step down the mountain brings them closer to the swarm and to the question of whether these things can be killed at all.

Anthony Mackie carries the pace, with Morena Baccarin as the stubborn physicist and Maddie Hasson rounding out the trio. Nolfi, who wrote The Bourne Ultimatum and directed The Adjustment Bureau, keeps it lean: ninety tight minutes of pure altitude survival.
