Dark Angel

Dark Angel (1990) is an American sci-fi action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Craig R. Baxley put Dolph Lundgren front and center as Jack Caine, a Houston vice cop who plays by his own rules and pays for it when his partner is killed during a drug bust gone wrong.

Caine starts digging and finds a string of bodies with one thing in common: each victim died with an impossible amount of heroin in their system despite never touching drugs. The FBI sends in its own agent — stiff, by-the-book, not much help. But the two reach an answer that makes the drug angle look simple: the killer is extraterrestrial, harvesting endorphins straight from human brains.

Baxley keeps the pacing tight and the action blunt — this is a no-frills genre crossover where a human cop tries to take down something built for a different world.
