Synopsis

Rising congressman David Norris bumps into dancer Elise by chance, and the spark is instant. The trouble is, their relationship was never part of the plan. Behind the surface of reality work the men in hats, agents who quietly nudge people back onto a script written by someone far above them. Every time David gets close to Elise, the world throws an obstacle in the way: a spilled coffee, a missed bus, a convenient accident. So he decides to fight the whole system for the right to choose his own life.
The film rides on the Damon and Blunt chemistry and one clean question: would you rewrite your destiny for one person? Chases through doors that open onto distant corners of New York give the sci-fi its kick. The cast also features Anthony Mackie, John Slattery and Terence Stamp.
