Uncle Drew

Uncle Drew (2018) is an American sports comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Broke coach Dax blows his savings entering a Harlem street tournament, then loses his whole roster days before tip-off. Desperate, he tracks down a playground legend named Uncle Drew.

Drew is pushing seventy, yet he reads the court better than the kids who showboat on it. He agrees to put the old crew back together, so Dax, played by Lil Rel Howery, drives across the country prying Drew's former teammates out of nursing homes, church choirs and coaching jobs. Kyrie Irving plays Drew under heavy old-age makeup, surrounded by real NBA names doing the same: Shaquille O'Neal, Reggie Miller, Chris Webber, Lisa Leslie and Nate Robinson.

The film grew out of Pepsi's viral ad spots, where a disguised Irving schooled unsuspecting pickup players on camera. Charles Stone III stretches that gag into a feature that is easygoing, cameo-stuffed and exactly as predictable as you would expect.
