Hellraiser

Hellraiser (2022) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM — a fresh reimagining of Clive Barker's franchise. Riley, fighting addiction and crashing at her brother's place, lets her boyfriend talk her into robbing an abandoned shipping container. Inside, she finds a strange metal puzzle box that turns in her hands like a Rubik's Cube.

What she doesn't know is that the box is a key. Solve it, and you call the Cenobites — beings from another plane for whom agony and ecstasy are the same thing. This time their leader, the Priest, is played by Jaimie Clayton, the first transgender actor to take on the role once known as Pinhead. Every twist of the configuration demands a body, and the trap keeps tightening around Riley.

Director David Bruckner (The Night House) skips the nostalgia and goes for cold, bodily dread, rebuilding the Cenobite designs from the ground up.
