Synopsis
The Art of War (2000) is a Christian Duguay action thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Wesley Snipes plays Neil Shaw, a covert United Nations operative who, on paper, doesn't exist at all.
Shaw handles the dirty jobs diplomats would rather not hear about. Then, during a mission in New York, the Chinese ambassador is gunned down on the eve of a landmark trade deal between China and the United States — and every clue points straight at Shaw. Somebody wants the agreement dead, and they've built him into the perfect fall guy. With an FBI official played by Anne Archer hunting him and a Triad crew closing in, his only ally is UN interpreter Julia. To clear his name, Shaw has to untangle a conspiracy that could shove two superpowers toward war.
Donald Sutherland turns up as the UN Secretary-General, lending some gravity to the gunplay. The Sun Tzu title is mostly a slick hook; underneath it's a solid turn-of-the-millennium actioner full of rooftop chases, shootouts and a wire-rigged brawl or two. It's comfort food for Snipes fans and anyone missing hard-edged action from that era. Stream The Art of War online on iFILM.
