CIA officer Sandy Crowell, played by Pike, is assigned to keep him sober and breathing long enough to close the deal. Hamm plays a negotiator who reads everyone in the room better than he reads himself. This is a talky, contained thriller where the tension sits in words and half-truths rather than shootouts — best for viewers who like their suspense slow and verbal.
