Them (2021) is an anthology horror series you can watch online on iFILM. Its first chapter drops a Black family into 1950s suburban California, where the welcome mat hides something far worse than bad neighbors.

The Emorys leave North Carolina for an all-white block in Compton, chasing a quieter life. They never get it. The street organizes against them, blasting music onto the lawn day and night to drive them out. That's the human horror. Then the house starts working on them too, dredging up a grief Lucky can't outrun. Deborah Ayorinde anchors it as a mother holding the family together by sheer will, with Ashley Thomas as a husband cracking under the strain.

Subtitled Covenant, the season was created by Little Marvin and produced by Lena Waithe for Amazon. It refuses to let you off easy: the racial cruelty is filmed as plainly as the supernatural, and that overlap cuts deeper than any jump scare.
