Synopsis

Alessandro and Arturo (Stefano Accorsi and Edoardo Leo) have drifted apart, worn down by quarrels, infidelities and routine. Then Alessandro's closest friend Annamaria asks them to mind her son and daughter for just a few days. Those days stretch out, the reason behind her absence turns out to be far heavier than expected, and caring for the kids hands the two men back something they had nearly lost. Özpetek shoots Rome warm and tactile, and the ending lands harder than you brace for. One for viewers who love stories of chosen family and tenderness that outlasts exhaustion.
