Synopsis

Sorting through his things, she finds a clue that rewrites the past seven years: her husband had been loving a man named Michele. Tracking him down leads Antonia to a crowded apartment on the edge of Rome, full of people Massimo never mentioned — a Turkish immigrant, a transgender neighbor, a tight circle of friends who treat the place as home. Margherita Buy plays Antonia with restraint, no melodrama; Stefano Accorsi and Serra Yılmaz fill out the warm, lived-in world she stumbles into.
Rather than a story about jealousy, Özpetek builds something gentler: a grieving widow slowly absorbed into the family of the man who shared her husband.
