Synopsis
Dear Santa (2024) is a fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Bobby Farrelly. Sixth-grader Liam writes a letter daring Santa to prove he's real, but he's dyslexic and the envelope lands with Satan instead.
The Devil couldn't be happier about his first ever fan letter. He turns up at Liam's house, offers to grant three wishes, and asks only for a small piece of the kid's soul in return. Jack Black plays him as chatty, charming and not the least bit scary, which is where most of the jokes come from. Liam has to figure out what those wishes are really worth before the bargain gets away from him.
Farrelly, of Dumb and Dumber fame, made a raunchy R-rated holiday romp, with Keegan-Michael Key, Ben Stiller and musician Post Malone popping up along the way. It's aimed at anyone sick of syrupy Christmas movies and craving something meaner. Stream Dear Santa (2024) online on iFILM.
