Each husband gets a "hall pass": one week off marriage, no rules, no questions asked. Rick (Owen Wilson) and Fred (Jason Sudeikis) picture themselves ruling the bar scene. While the guys flail, wives Maggie (Jenna Fisher) and Grace (Christina Applegate) head to the coast, where freedom turns out to be a lot easier to enjoy. Directed by Bobby and Peter Farrelly, the team behind Dumb and Dumber, the film plays the fantasy of single life against the reality of two middle-aged dads who have no idea what they're doing.
