Synopsis
Episodes (2011), Season 2 is the Hollywood satire you can watch online on iFILM — nine episodes that find British writers Sean and Beverly still stuck in Los Angeles after their show was rebuilt into the sitcom "Pucks!" with Matt LeBlanc.
Their marriage is in pieces after Beverly's fling with Matt, and the two writers can barely look at the star. Matt buys Sean the sports car he always wanted, hoping money smooths things over; it doesn't. As the "Pucks!" ratings sink, the network leans on the couple to shrink Matt's part and push the teenage co-stars instead, which sends him spiralling. Around them everyone is sleeping with the wrong person: Beverly agrees to dinner with Morning's brother, Merc whisks Carol off to Mexico, and Matt starts something he shouldn't with his boss's wife.
Creators David Crane and Jeffrey Klarik keep the comedy dry and the picture of network television properly poisonous. LeBlanc, playing a sour cartoon of himself, is still the best reason to stay. Stream Episodes Season 2 online on iFILM.
