Muppets Most Wanted

Muppets Most Wanted (2014) is James Bobin's family musical comedy, ready to watch online on iFILM. Fresh off their last adventure, Kermit's troupe launches a grand European tour and lands smack in the middle of a string of audacious jewel heists.

The culprit is Constantine, a frog criminal who looks exactly like Kermit save for a mole and a thick Russian accent. Teamed with a slippery tour manager named Dominic Badguy (Ricky Gervais), he swaps places with the real Kermit, who gets shipped off to a Siberian gulag run by a scene-stealing Tina Fey. While Miss Piggy, Fozzie, and the rest perform on, oblivious to the switch, an Interpol agent (Ty Burrell) and CIA man Sam the Eagle chase the gang across the continent.

The songs come from Bret McKenzie of Flight of the Conchords, who had won an Oscar for the first film's music a year earlier. Cameos pile up fast: Tom Hiddleston, Salma Hayek, Ray Liotta, and Christoph Waltz all turn up. The jokes are pitched to land for parents and kids at the same time.
