Ferdinand

Ferdinand (2017) is an animated family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. It follows a giant Spanish bull who hates fighting and would rather sit and smell the flowers. Wrestler John Cena voices the gentle giant, and the casting is a perfect joke in itself.

Raised on a farm that breeds bulls for the ring, Ferdinand runs off and finds a happy home with a flower grower and his daughter. Then his size betrays him: handlers haul him back, headed straight for the bullring in Madrid. To escape, the big softie has to talk a pen full of stubborn rivals into breaking out with him. His partner in chaos is Lupe, a hyperactive goat voiced with wild energy by Kate McKinnon.

Director Carlos Saldanha, the man behind Ice Age and Rio, based the film on Munro Leaf's 1936 picture book, a story once banned in some countries for its pacifist streak.
